Privacy policy

Memorove is developed by Jie Hu. Your photo memories are analyzed on your iPhone.

Photos and local processing

Memorove reads the photos, videos and associated metadata you authorize through Apple Photos to arrange memory notes, recognize subjects and identify similar items. This analysis happens on your device. Memorove does not upload your photos to a developer-operated server, require a separate Memorove account, include advertising or include third-party analytics.

Places, iCloud and sharing

While you browse, memory location coordinates are automatically sent to Apple’s geocoding service to obtain more specific place names in your chosen language. Photos are not included in these requests. Confirmed names are cached on your device. Lookups pause when the app leaves the foreground.

Apple may download originals from your iCloud Photos library when needed. If you share an item, only the items you select are handed to the system share sheet and the destination you choose. Apple’s services are governed by Apple’s privacy policy; your chosen sharing destination has its own privacy practices.

Choices, storage and deletion

Your review choices, collections, language preference and memory index are stored locally. They remain when a trial expires. Uninstalling Memorove may remove these local choices, but does not erase your Apple Photos library.

Items in the review basket are only marked for review. Deletion requires a final confirmation and is performed by Apple Photos. It can affect devices using the same iCloud Photos library. Apple Photos manages recovery through Recently Deleted. Favorites are checked and protected before deletion.

Purchases

Apple processes the free trial and lifetime purchase. Memorove verifies Apple transaction information to determine trial duration and access. The developer does not receive your payment card details. A last-observed time is stored in the device Keychain to help prevent restarting the trial by changing the clock. Restore Purchases uses your Apple Account through Apple’s system.

Support and this website

If you email support, the developer and email service provider process your email address and the information you choose to send to respond to your request. Correspondence is kept as needed to resolve the request or meet applicable requirements. Please avoid sending private photos or unnecessary personal information.

This support website has no developer-added advertising, analytics, contact forms or tracking scripts. Its hosting providers may process technical request information, such as an IP address, to deliver and secure the site. Visiting this website does not give us access to your photo library.

Your choices and contact

You can change photo permissions in iOS Settings, change language in Memorove, restore review choices before deletion and use Restore Purchases to recover valid access. We cannot remotely retrieve your on-device photo library or review choices.
